About Product
A medical alert pendant is a small device worn on the body that lets someone call for help at the press of a button. The Mi-Lo adds built-in GPS, two-way hands-free voice, and its own cellular connection, so the wearer can talk to help directly through the pendant without needing to own or reach for a cellphone.
Because it has its own built-in SIM card and cellular connection, the Mi-Lo Pendant works independently of any smartphone, home base station, or landline. It is one part of the wider Life Assist safety platform, which also includes the Mi-Lo Smartwatch.
Press the SOS button to open a two-way, hands-free voice call. Depending on how the account is set up, that call connects to a family member you have chosen or to a professional monitoring team that can dispatch police, fire, or an ambulance to the pendant’s location.
The pendant also supports an inclusion/exclusion geo-fence: set a zone, and your chosen contacts are notified by email and SMS if the wearer enters or leaves that area.
Fall detection comes standard on the Mi-Lo Pendant, not as a separate monthly upgrade. It is included at no extra cost, and you can enable it when you want extra protection or leave it off, with no change to your price either way. If the pendant detects a hard fall, it can send an alert automatically, so help can be reached whether or not the wearer can press the SOS button.
This gives the wearer two ways to call for help: the SOS button on demand, and automatic fall detection as a backup. In either case, the response is the same: a two-way call opens to a chosen family member or a professional monitoring team. For older adults who value their independence, it adds a dependable layer of protection to everyday activity.
Who the Mi-Lo Pendant Is For
A trusted emergency pendant for seniors
For older adults who want to maintain their independence, the Mi-Lo Pendant offers a reliable way to reach family or professional help at the press of a button. It operates on its own cellular connection rather than a home base station, so it works both at home and away from home. The single-button design is straightforward for users who prefer not to manage a more complex device, and the pendant fits easily into everyday routines.
Peace of mind for parents and caregivers
For children who need a simple way to reach a parent or emergency help, the pendant offers one-button SOS, two-way voice, and real-time location — without handing a child a smartphone. GPS and geo-fence alerts let parents know if a child arrives safely or leaves an expected area, and because the pendant shares its location on its own, a child does not need to know or say where they are for help to reach them.
A hands-free option for people who work alone
Outreach and field teams — often from non-profits and charities working with higher-risk clients in shelters, clinics, or drop-in sites — carry the pendant so help is one press away. There's no phone to dig for with dirty or full hands, and no need to know or state an address: the pendant's GPS location goes straight to the responder.
Family or Professional Monitoring, Your Choice
Every family is different, so the Mi-Lo Pendant works two ways, and you choose the one that fits:
Family monitoring
SOS and fall alerts open a two-way call to the family members or caregivers you choose, a suitable option when someone close is usually nearby.
Professional monitoring
A trained emergency team (911) handles alerts and can coordinate EMS, fire, or police to the pendant's location.
Both options use the same pendant and the same features. The difference is who answers when the button is pressed.
